We were dreaming of a White Christmas and Santa delivered! We woke up Christmas Morning to snow on the ground and more falling from the sky. It snowed all day into the night. When Sunday morning arrived we had 4 inches on the ground! enjoy the pictures below of the kids opening presents.

Monday there was still snow on the ground, so we got together with a bunch of kids from church and found a good hill to slide down. By the way I am LOVING the extraordinary camera Chris gave me for Christmas. I have barely begun to use it, but I have been getting some great pictures anyway.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas I know it has been a while since we have updated, but with family spread across the U.S. I thought I better get back to blogging as an easier way to share with everyone what we are up to. Here are just a few pictures of the last week. The kids had two snow days last week. What fun to see the street covered in snow! How fun to live right at the end of a cul-de-sac also. Gives us LOTS of play space!
Can you see the snow angels?

This is the Twiner house in Tennessee. It fits our family pretty well. It is in a great location. 5 minutes or less to all the schools, cul-de-sac and private backyard and we can walk or bike to the greenway (a running, walking, biking trail that winds miles throughout the city going by schools, through parks and along quaint little Pistol Creek. Absolutely beautiful. In fact in just a few weeks if we really wanted to we could bike all the way to Mom and Dad's house in the next town. What a ride though I think it would be at least 8 miles!)

I think Krislee was hoping she wouldn't fall! Walking VERY carefully!

No sweeter sight than seeing all the kids getting along together. Krislee is reading them the Christmas book we opened for that day. It is one of our Christmas countdowns. We wrap up 24 Christmas books and open one a day to read. Carter really is loving all of our Christmas countdowns!

Monthly Trips to Tennessee!

These pictures are a couple of weeks old, but I thought I would share a glimpse into our travelling life. We seem to be blessed to go see Chris in TN at least once a month. We try to get back together as a family every two weeks and if the kid have any time off from school we get to do the travelling! One thing the kids should be grateful for is that we get to eat out a lot more now! Our new favorite is Hardees. We always stop for Little Caesars on the way up and now it is Hardees on the way home.

We took some time to actually eat in Hardee's this time. The kids kept switching tables. I think we messed up three tables in all!

Nothing better than a big, sloppy burger, crispy salty french fries and a huge glass of pop before hitting the road again!

SNOW DAY!!!!!
It has been YEARS since we have had this much snow!
Karlee measured 5 inches. It looked beautiful!

The kids said it looked like "Narnia" (one of their favorite movies)

Who wouldn't want to buy this beauty of a home?

This is our snow "mouse". It just kind of took on that shape. There is still a little of him left outside now. I love how beautiful the snow makes the trees look. What a fun snow day!

A quick update. I am having picture problems. The computer is doing what it wants and i have yet to find the time to sit down and figure it out. To pass the time while Chris is away I have been crafting and crafting and crafting. It is hard to get into a craft only to have to clean it up so that we can show the house, but I still do it. I needed some more Valentines decorations anyway and so now we have probably doubled the number that we have. Yesterday I spent the afternoon and my good friend Kim's house. What a wonderful time we had eating, crafting and talking. Good friends make life so nice!!!

Christmas was really fun. Chris came down to Mississippi for Christmas day and then a few days later we all headed up to Tennessee for the week. We got a Wii (that's what is in the big box!)
We had sweet Sister Wood over Christmas night. She gave us a lot of laughs playing wii bowling!

I know it has been a long time since I wrote anything. Live has been CRAZY!!!! I have gotten on a decorating kick trying to make the house look like a show place and trying to get it to sell. Here are some pictures.
